The Best Place To Get Dental Implants In Austin & Georgetown, TX

A dental implant is a prosthetic tooth root that is attached to a patient's jaw. They are generally used to support crowns, bridges, and dentures. Dental implants are surgically installed in the jaw bone by dentists to provide a secure foundation for dental aesthetics.

Dental implants are considered to be more secure than dental dentures, according to various reports. Our dentists at 3D Dental always make sure to utilize the highest-quality implants in order for our patients never to experience discomfort.

There are many reasons why it is important to replace a missing tooth. Here are some significant reasons –

  • It increases their self-esteem. When patients think about their missing tooth, it can be quite disheartening.
  • It aids in the preservation of the jawbone and its form.
  • It restores the chewing capability of the patient.
  • It restores the bite so that the alignment of the jaw doesn’t get affected.
  • It helps to recover the speech.

What Are Types Of Dental Implant?

Dental implants come in different size and heights. At 3D Dental, we always recommend the best one for the patients. There are mainly two types of dental implants –

  • Endosteal –It is the most frequent dental implant. The jawbone is usually where a dental implant is inserted during the procedure. They are typically made of tiny titanium screws.
  • Subperiosteal – It is yet another type of dental implant. These dental implants are mainly placed under the gum, but on or above the jaw bone. These types of implants are mainly used for patients with no healthy, natural jawbone, or do not want to undergo a bone augmentation procedure.

What Are Some Of The Core Benefits Of Dental Implants?

According to a recent research by the American Dental Association, dental implant surgery has an excellent success rate of more than 90%. It has grown increasingly popular as a result of the American Dental Association's endorsement in an essay. The following are some of the most significant reasons why our dentists at 3D Dental encourage its usage -

  • Dental Implants Behave Like A Natural Teeth – The ability to chew properly is one of the most significant advantages of a dental implant. According If a recent research, the majority of patients are unaware that an implant and a natural tooth are two different things. It's fantastic because it helps them function normally. They also have no problems when brushing or flossing their teeth.
  • Dental Implants Lasts Lifetime – The main benefit of a dental implant is that it is composed of titanium and readily adheres to the jawbone. It is also bio-compatible, which means it will be tolerated by the body. It's simply the ideal option for a tooth.
  • Dental Implants Prevent Bone Loss –The jawbone is in an empty location if you lose your teeth. If the jawbone does not get filled up promptly, the entire bone will deteriorate. Dental implants are the only viable choice in this case since they restore both the root and tooth. Chewing was restored to normal because implants restore both the root and tooth.
  • Dental Implants Keep Adjacent Teeth Stable – The space left by a missing tooth can force the adjacent teeth to shift in that direction. This once again pulls the tooth out of position, causing it to be misaligned. And poor bite alignment might cause TMJ discomfort. Dental implants aid in closing those gaps with ease by utilizing a metal rod and titanium dental implant material.
  • Dental Implants Can Help Prevent Gum Diseases – Food and germs get trapped between a missing tooth, contributing to gum disease. Gum infections are caused by this again. Dental implants can easily repair these holes with the use of implant therapy.

Dr Chen gave me treatment for 3 implants and 1 tooth filling in the past six months. She was very patient-oriented; she explained the procedures in details and had the job done sophisticatedly. Moreover, the nurses and receptionists there were very friendly and helpful which really impressed me. I have no reservation to recommend Dr Chen and her team for their excellent professionalism.

Without a doubt the friendliest Dentist office I have ever been too. Dr. Ho was really great. And one of the nicest thing I like is the detail they explain to you about the work you need done and they don't try to sell you expensive work if you don't need it. They look at what is wrong and what you want and Taylor a plan accordingly. Will definitely be going here to get my dental work done. I highly recommend you check them out. You will really like Dr. Ho and his staff.

Frequently Asked Questions

I need an implant. How long can I wait?

After losing a single tooth, it is highly recommended to replace the tooth with an implant as soon as possible to minimize the effects of bone loss. By far, the largest impact on implant eligibility and price comes from delaying, or opting for temporary solutions before inevitably needing implants. Bone loss following a missing tooth inevitably cause shifting or even loss of surrounding teeth. Lack of bone is restrictive for dental implants and thus patients may require bone grafting procedures to qualify for implants. In short, the best time to get an implant was yesterday, the second best time is today.

How much do dental implants cost?

It is true that dental implants have a higher initial cost than other procedures. The reason, though, is that they last much longer than other options. Even bridges, which used to be very popular, only last 7 to 15 years which means you’ll have to spend money a few times over the rest of your life to replace them, bridges also require the sacrifice of 2 healthy teeth meaning a single tooth issue commonly evolves into a 3 tooth issue. Dental implants in most cases are permanent. In the many cases, Implants prove to betheleast expensive option in the long run.

Does insurance cover dental implants?

Some insurance plans offer coverage for dental implants, however in many cases there will still be an out-of-pocket expense when getting dental implants. We recommend bringing your insurance card to your initial consultation, or calling our office ahead of time to get a definitive answer on your specific coverage. Our team will be able to look up your benefits and determine any reimbursements / coverage you are eligible for after receiving a treatment plan.

Can I get a payment plan for dental implants?

Dental implants are definitely financeable! From single tooth cases, to full-mouth implant options- financing allows patients to pay off their lifetime smile over time, usually within 12, 24, or 48+ months. As part of your VIP consultation, the doctor will provide you with a treatment plan with different pricing options, we can then help you get qualified for in-house 0% financing, or 3rd party financing. Checking your eligibility for a payment plan will not affect your credit score!

Are dental implants difficult to care for?

Not at all! Once your dental implants are in, it’s extremely easy to care of them. Simply brush and floss your teeth like you always did. Even better, you don’t have to worry about getting cavities or tooth decay. We always recommend good dental hygiene, but you don’t have to do anything extra when you have implants. You can eat normal foods and chew gum, too.
